- Cowdenbeath Area Committee
- Dunfermline Area Committee
- Glenrothes Area Committee
- Kirkcaldy Area Committee
- Levenmouth Area Committee
- North East Fife Area Committee
- South West Fife Area Committee

Local Community Planning
Each Area Committee has its own Local Community Plan.
Local Community Planning is about making a positive difference to the communities we live in. By bringing together local communities with public, voluntary, and private sector organisations we can identify and influence the issues that are important to us all.
By working with local people and service providers we can take local action that leads to lasting positive change.Ā Together, we can improve our communities and quality of life.

Locality Networks
In March 2018 the Education & Childrenās Services Committee members endorsed the vision for Education and Childrenās Services to become āA Better Connected Directorate for 2020ā (ABCD).Ā The systems re-design involved a move to strengthen local networks to ensure decisions that shape the wellbeing and education of children and young people are made by those working with them at local level.
The system re-design also aimed to support the move towards a more self-improving system through fully utilising the wealth of skills and expertise that exist within the Directorate and the Childrenās Services Partnership (including NHS Fife, Police Scotland, 3rdSector, Communities, Housing) supporting strong partnership working and outcomes focussed collaboration.
